Taking a moment to celebrate success! 70% of our 4th graders are proficient in reading in a school where only 4.7% of 3rd-8th graders are proficient readers!!
This accomplishment is due to the dedication of the @mlkcenterindy staff, tutors and volunteers that provide year round high quality literacy instruction.
The 4th grade students not proficient are receiving 1:1 tutoring 4 days a week this summer.
